This little thing did catch my eye.

•Gets FM
•Internet radio
•Connects to a media server
•Reads music from a USB or MP3 player.

Pros
•The speaker is surprising good.
•Connecting to my Media Center 12 UPnP server was a snap.
•Connecting to my wireless WPA-PSK network wasn't hard (RJ45 capable too).
•Firmware is easy to install
•Clock automatically syncs
•Comes with thousands of stations set up. Uses vTuner (»vtuner.com/). You can find stations on vTuner, and have them programmed into your radio's favorite via the web. You can also manually add them via the same web interface. The vTuner is free, you just enter the radio's MAC address. All genre's of music and talk are available. There are even scanner, fire, police, air and ham feeds too. If you know of a feed not in vTuner, you can add it pretty simply.

Cons
•The interface is a wee bit kludgy.
•Display is good if you like bright or off (no dimmer, but there is a timer)
•Came with old firmware
•FM tuner isn't the greatest, I just use the internet feed of my locals, and it is crystal clear.
•Alarm function works, but take a few minutes to set up.

I took it to my main audio/video receiver and used RCA jacks to connect it to my main system. two minutes later I was listening to my MP3 library in my living room.

All in all, I like it.
About $115 from Amazon.
--
"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have" Thomas Jefferson
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

AIRMM01F
