Netgear rates the product for an ambient temperature range of 0 - 95 degrees F, so it should be able to handle 80 degrees, if everything is working OK.
The temp rating probably applies to the device and not the drives which are essentially the issue (drives overheating not the nas). Disk on channel 1 reports a temperature of 57C / 134F.
Disk on channel 2 reports a temperature of 56C / 132F.

Please shutdown the system immediately for service.

I'm not sure what else to do, should I try replacing the fan? Wouldn't I get one of those alert emails if the fan was not working properly?
