Although I would love it to happen.

glinc join:2009-04-07 New York, NY ·Verizon FIOS	CDMA chips will still be needed just in case you are in areas where there won't be LTE Coverage for data, so it can fall back to the EVDO Rev-A. I don't think if it does comes out for Verizon they will be that stupid not to have a cdma chip built-in with LTE chips.
