Cooler recommendations - no idea.
Just wanted to point out that many(most) of today's laptops don't really get hot. My TOTL VAIOs will only get warm if I run them up with a game or rendering a video or something - but they don't get hot. This one has been on all morning and is barely luke warm. My other AR on the desk has been on all night and is barely warm to the touch.
*HERE* on these VAIOs, the fan does run up real fast - once or twice per day but drops right back down and cruises(dust clean out maybe?) Even when running a game, the fan never spins up - or at least not to where you can notice. Heat output increases!!! It can fry your knee! The machine itself (the case/bottom) gets warm and that's it!
You may want to hold off and see what the machine does before dropping money on something that *might* not be needed. USB(?) will also use up one of your ports and if running on battery - lower run-time.
Just some things to consider. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

| Good day dadkins,
I will hold off then until I play with it once it arrives later this week/early next week.
As for power I am using it as a desktop replacement so it will be on AC 97% of the time.
Thanks -- Don't let people drive you crazy when you know it's in walking distance. |

| Heat shouldn't be a problem, and many now have "Advanced Power Management" that even allows fan control. Set it to highest/Performance and it *should* be fine.
Glad I could help!
Be sure to come back if it does need a cooler, someone here will offer suggestions! -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

Thanks again. |
