I brought my laptop to work (we use TerraGo Networks) and I instantly loaded the windows update page. There may be a problem with the DNS server. At home I bypassed my router and connected directly to the modem but nothing changed.

It seems like a MTU setting problem. Can you please post your MTU settings.
