Ok, so let's say 1 out of 100 have needs similar to what you describe. Not the type of interest the ISPs will likely force their marketing efforts towards.
I agree, it's a small market. I just don't see it as really crazy for anyone to do it though. Marketing for this is more wishful thinking, but what else have they got? A bad economy and hopes all those with copper would drop from dsl. Or, maybe it's a publicity stunt........ Got us talking.
