Doctor Olds : There are also simple "Bridge Only" Modems out there aka Model 5667 and Model 5360 (and other non-Speedstreams) also the Model 5100a (SBC's 1st version 5100), but they are standard ADSL (G.DMT, G.Lite, and ANSI T1.413 support) with no future upgrade path to ADSL2 or ADSL2+ as the Hardware can't do it. I believe the SBC 5100 "a" and "b" both are in that same boat with no ADSL2 or ADSL2+ support. The 5100b is a single PC router, when in PPP/Router Mode.

In Bridge Mode and configured to the correct VPI/VCI for the ISP I can't think of any Modem that would not work.
--
What’s the point of owning a supercar if you can’t scare yourself stupid from time to time?
