"Naked DSL" is not yet offered across the entire AT&T footprint so in some cases & areas a POTS line & service agreement are required for DSL service as part of a 'bundle'.
I am a Pacbell/AT&T DSL Customer for 10 years now and it wasn't until last year that "Naked" DSL was finally offered where I live.. I had a landline I never used and had to pay for it along with DSL service for 9 of those 10 years....
Now I pay $45/mo. for "Elite" service (6mbps down/640kbps up) and don't have a land line anymore (A Fully Cellular household). |
