Rob,
Good move - have been with PP since 8-08 and have been 100% satisfied with their service.
I have been on SunRocket & Nuvio and PP is the best! They went out of their way to get my # ported over.
Good to hear I was thinking about getting Nuvio but I felt they wanted to much for what they offered? I have been with these following providers

Vonage - Constant price increases, flakey service at times, last minute price increases

Packet8 - There were okay but the latency to their server(s) was killing my QOS

VoicePulse - Heard alot of good things about VoicePulse but again had QOS problems

ViaTalk aka (ViaCrap) Where do I begin! Constant outages, fast busys when trying to dial out, one way audio, features flake out, tweaks being made that broke my service on many occasions, and now ya gotta love being shut off over a few bucks.

Now I have PhonePower by far the best VoIp company I have used! The minor problems I had were taken care of quickly with prompt call backs. Very courteous tech support and considering the calls they must get from some "know it all" people that says alot?

In the past we had maybe 20 calls, it might be less that sounded garbled to the other caller. So we just hung up and called them back. Not a big deal and I know this is because of the jitter\latency of Verizon at times. Goes to show how resilient the service can be?

Nice knowing everyone and thanks PhonePower for the heads up regarding planned maintenance in the wee hours. It is nice to have a phone that works!
