| I still get them! They haven't tapered off for me. I get the automated messages when I pick up, or parts of a message in voicemail, telling me time and time again that my "car warranty is about to expire," and "this is the final notice before we close to file." That along with all those carpet cleaners promising to clean my carpet for $15. I put EVERY NUMBER I use or own (VOIP, cellphone, Google Voice, landline, etc.) in Do Not Call, but it DOES NO GOOD. How does Do Not Call do any good when these jerks don't even use it and just use auto-dialers?
A $100 million dollar penalty isn't enough (they'll never pay). We need to sentence these bozos to Death Row at San Quentin. |

The carpet cleaning calls are rather interesting...when you get a live person to schedule an appointment...you get transferred to a local carpet cleaning company.
I then ask for their phone number and business name and if they give it to me I file a complaint using that information....I get those calls as late as 8:30 PM
