Only Interent through VPN

Hi,

I have a PPTP VPN windows 2003 server and a client pc windows XP that connects to it.

How can I make the PC to have interent access only wen connected to the VPN server, in other words I dont want this PC to be able to make outbound traffic outside of the VPN tunnel. Please help!

I tired with Sunbelt software firewall to restrict all IPs and left only the VPN server open but it doesnt work... it conencts to the VPN server but then firwall stil lblocks all traffic ... :-(

Normally the XP PPTP VPN client has an option to either enable or disable split tunneling while in the VPN session. Is that what you mean?

Its possible there is a group policy that you can push to the XP PPTP VPN client PC that will do disable split tunneling with the PPTP VPN client. Here is a spread sheet from MSFT that you can download that may help you find such an animal if it exists.

Is this a company owned PC? If so you could also use something like the free MSFT SteadyState tool and lock down the PC configuring it for only what you want the users to have access to. Obviously the users should not have administrator permissions.
