I try to get them to 'stay on the call' as long as possible, chewing up their valuable time, without giving them requested information.

Also, I use the tactic that many companies use...
'is there a number that I can call back in the event that we get disconnected'.
Get that number and info and put it in the do-not-call site.

I tried that with one of those calls, and the guy said "Let me spell the number out for you, just read it back to me when I'm done." You can probably guess what the number was...
