 | I get them at work These idiots call my work number... a number that I have never used as a contact for my car warranty, ever. So it is quite obvious when they call that it is a scam.
The scarier call, however, came a few months back. My wife first called me to tell me that our refrigerator was on the fritz and we needed to buy a new one. Literally 2 seconds after I got off the phone with her, I get a call from one of these places. The pre-recorded voice said: "If you own your own home you need to protect against major appliance failure..." Are the telemarketers spying on me or what? -- -Jason Levine Support a children's charity. Buy a calendar and/or a photo book. Shooting For A Cause |
