Re: I half agree While I do use all sorts of security software for layered protection, I have also used some computers for years with absolutely no anti-virus software installed on them. There are other ways to protect your computer. Security software certainly has its uses for many situations, but in all honesty, I have had more problems with the security software, itself, than any virus or trojan has ever caused.
For me, it all depends on what the computer is being used to do and how valuable the data might be.
I suppose they have a cell ready for me in Guantanamo.  |
