Re: Someone's being paid most of the time its 10mbit or 100mbit per server on the dedi / colo sides of things. There are the few and far packages that let you pick up some odd unmetered port speeds. Most "servers" that your pulling sites from generally get billed on usage rather than speed.
:EDIT: And yes, before someone else comes up and says it in a snide remark.... the bandwidth does have to be shared amongst all those using that server, whether it be multiple sites or multiple visitors to said sites. |
