| Very easy. Basically plug and play. Make sure you get a decent size MicroSD card.
Also, if you tend to use the sleep function a lot (just closing the lid while playing a game), the CycloDS just continues sucking up the battery. I did tests with it about a year ago and found the CycloDS in sleep mode uses more power than the DS with a regular game card completely on.
Supposedly they've fixed some power consumption issues in the latest firmwares, but I haven't tested it yet. |

| They added an optional (but on by default) "Battery Saver" mode which reduces power consumption during gameplay. There are only a few games where this causes issues. (The World Ends with You, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, etc)
