<title>Can&#x27;t access VPN</title>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : I haven't had any real problems with my VPN network (as an off-campus source of Internet etc at my university) until recently; I'm not really sure what's happened but I think it's a problem with my computer, as I know other students are not experiencing these problems.<br><br>Basically, the client opens up, I click Connect, it asks me for my password - which I give - and then the client starts "Negotiating Security Policies", except it never, ever connects...it just negotiates security policies for a while before giving up and saying "Not Connected".<br><br>Any idea what might be causing this? I'm on Windows XP and have turned off the firewall, and the TCP/IP thing is ticked in the connection properties.<br><br>Would love a solution ASAP but just a warning - I'm pretty much a dummy as far as technical computer stuff goes, so make your responses in as plain English as you can...]]></description>
