[netopia] Need some help configuaring Netopia 3347 with static I

My model is Netopia-3000 Netopia Model 3347-02 AnnexA High-Power Wireless DSL Ethernet Managed 4 port Switch. Software: 7.6.1r7

I have a static (sticky) IP range from ATT

NETWORK xx.xx.xxx.160
RANGE xx.xxx.xxx.161-65
DG xx.xx.xxx.166
BCAST xx.xx.xxx.167
SM 255.255.255.248

How do I configure the device (NAT) so I can use multiple IPs on the network so I can have .162 for my webserver and 163 for my mail server. Right now all traffic shows it's coming from .166 (the Default Gateway)

I also noticed that I don't have the Expert Mode in the web interface. Is that needed? Do I need to upgrade the firmware to Ent Firmware?

My model seems to be the non ENT version?

Peter

i dunno why you don't have expert mode though, have you tried updating the firmware? even if it is the same version, sometimes it will fix missing links.

from this output on the home page

Hardware Netopia Model 3347-02 AnnexA High-Power Wireless DSL Ethernet Managed Switch
Serial Number 32683156
Software Version 7.6.1r7 BreakWater Firewall SilentRunning
Product ID 1225
Date & Time 5/3/09 12:18:16 AM Safe Harbour On

firmware version I have is I guess 7.6.1r7 right?

now I can only download the 7.5.0 R1 from here

isn't it gonna mess things up? Or how do I download the firmware from the modem to my PC and then upload it back onto the modem?

thanks David

that must be one of the crippled firmwares. not sure if you can "downgrade" it or not.

do I need to use the telnet + tftp to upload the new firmware or can I accomplish the same from the web interface under INSTALL SOFTWARE section?
