Where's 60 MB?

I heard all this movement on 60 MB but wheres an update to it? When will Socal get it? Are they at least out of ST Louis yet? Is it in other areas?

Needs a new thread and some updates.

THANKS!

Charters restructuring having hit opposition has probably slowed if not stopped this. I might be mistaken but wasn't this only intended for select markets to begin with?

The only place I have heard is select town's in St Louis. The Missouri side.

Here is the big topic on 60mb

»[HSI] Charter to offer 60 Mbps service?

Like I said, limited town's in St Louis. Maybe about 4 cities at the moment have 60meg.

Chesterfield. MO
Ballwin, MO
Eureka. MO
Ellisville. MO

And that is it that I know of.

That would not be surprising actually.
With all the issues Charter is having in bankruptcy court (with opposition, and some creditors [the WI workers who sued] among others it would not be surprising if it was converted to Chapter 7.
I do agree with with JPMorgan and the other bank about the change of control, considering Apollo will essentially control more of Charter than Paul Allan.

i also agree i think more then 50 percent chance charter goes chapter 7

based on what all ive read and documents ive seen if i was a judge id turn it into chapter 7

Weeeee 60 MB is here! Self install below:

First time out of the box, restart modem first time, first time speed test:

modem Motorola SB 6120

60MG regular $129.99
Actual price $114.99 + $3 modem rental.

Amazing that this all worked the first time

Yep, that is true and also not all areas of the cities you list have the 60 MB plan available. I'm in the eastern part of Chesterfield and it is not available here.

They must be getting closer. I saw this on the Post-Dispatch's website:

»connect.charter.com/landing/ultr···tra.html

That's the same email most of us got last week, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have been added to any additional areas.
