1 edit | reply to mbkowns Any news Theta on 60MB out your way? I was just informed charter is finally going to be installing the lines in my new subdivision, and was hoping to jump on board the 60MB band wagon if my wife lets me.

Actually, I kid. I am very happy with my Charter service and have had only 1 minor issue in the past 5 years. |

| Agreed. I just wish rollouts went a bit smoother and more information was available.
The 10mb and 16mb rollouts were similar, so we're all used to it by now. Service uptime is good, though. |

| reply to mbkowns With the recent St Louis TV Ads, and print that was mailed. did Charter even expand the Ultra60? Seems not, frustrating for those that see TV ad and find out it is not available
I know the feeling |

However, nobody's address shows U60 as provisionable in Aurora. Grr... |

| reply to mbkowns I just called today and was initially told I couldn't get u60 on the North Side of O'Fallon. The rep put me on hold and then came back and made sure I had a 100mb full duplex router hooked up to my modem and checked my modem's model number and said I was good to go.
He couldn't give me the actual price per month, but said he would call me back with the price before my 30day trial was up. I haven't been home to test it yet, but I cannot wait to get off work now. |

That's what he 'told' us, and no, he isn't right. |

I'm hoping to hear what he meant by his latest post...
Really. I'm just trying to trap the troll. |

| I can'believe any market is still stuck with 10/1 while others have gotten two speed upgrades. if u count the 16 to 20 3 speed upgrades to our 0.I'm stoked for those who did get it but I still dislike Charter as they are Fu**king us who are only offered 10/1 |

| Try my market. The fastest home solution is 5mb for $29.99 for 6 mos. Who knows what it is after that time. But you can get the smallest biz acct. of 7mb for 105.99.
NO 10 meg home nor 20 meg home here. But ATT FA says they don't service this addy eithier. What's weird about the whole thing is that I have a Google compound that's about a square mile just 1 1/2 miles from my house.
It's like living next door to Intel and only having access to a P75 processor. |

| reply to mbkowns Heck, I'm still waiting for my 20/2 to behave like 20/2. I haven't even thought much about 60MB yet. I typically get no more than 12-13/1.35 right now even during early mornings. Back when it was 15/2 I was getting around 13.5/1.9 regularly. I am thankful to often be somewhat early in line for Charter's new technologies even though I'm in the middle of nowhere in Michigan.
Who knows.. maybe the new equipment necessary for 60MB would help me get closer to the limits. |

@fmo.com | reply to mbkowns Charter just offered 60MB in Wentzville MO about about 35 miles west of Downtown St Louis. It's $120.00 per month. I'm currently using the 10MB service for $29.95 per month with no problems for the last 18 months. 60MB to rich for me at the moment. |
