Theta when I asked about it, the lady said it was available in O Fallon, MO. Said it was since June 2nd. You are prob just in the same boat as I am, its available, but no modems.

Theta, if you find out it's available in O'Fallon, please post that info.

SB6120's are plentiful, so I don't know how Charter couldn't have any. They're only $79, so I'll just buy my own...

Marko,

The secondary qualification system confirmed that it is not available for provisioning in O'Fallon, MO right now.

One of the Charter reps here confirmed it a few days ago in the Direct forum. Sadly, it is not here, and certainly not since June.

Well Charter finally hooked my subdivision up and I am waiting for a serviceability check now. Most likely getting 20 meg, but the rep said 60 meg was available currently at my address in Wentzville.

I am "supposed" to have the 60 mbit service, but I haven't seen over 33mbit\3.5mbit. It would seem to me I there is a bottle neck somewhere that is limiting me to that.

I am on the North Side of O'Fallon.

Ed, where are you in O'Fallon? North of K&70 (M area) 63366, or closer into the K&N Dardenne area 63368?

Just trying to figure out where it's live around here.

I am north of Hwy70, near the railroad tracks, close to Westhoff Park. It is an older subdivision built in the 60's called Forrest Park (i think).

When you call Charter, you cannot call the generic 800 number to order services. You have to call the number Charter has been advertising on the radio and in print.

If you call the generic 800 number they will always say it isn't available.

I am sure a Charter Tech will correct me if I am wrong, but there is one main "Head End" servicing St Charles, St Peters, O'Fallon and possibly Wentzville. Wentzville could be serviced out of Chesterfield Valley and whichever head end they are connected to. But from my buddy who works at Charter and lives in O'Fallon, he says this whole area should be able to get it except for specific areas that are "more expensive to upgrade".

Ed,

It shows a lot of us out here are serviced by "Olivette", which is pretty far away.

I was under the impression that we were serviced out of the St. Peters head-end, but I guess I was wrong.

Can you post the number you called to order your U60?

Sorry I don't have the number I called. I had heard it at work about a month ago and called then. I should have wrote it down but I didn't.

Olivette is the primary for the St Louis Region if I am not mistaken. All of the local head ends route then through Olivette where the transport is and any piering they may have.

From how it was explained to me, Charter has setup the STL area like what they used to use for Airports/Airlines. The hub and spoke method.

For those that have Ultra 60 is it very hard to find a speed test site that can handle up to 60-100Mbps. Here is a good one, not close to me, but it does handle the Ultra 60

Ugh...63138 here and still no dang 60mb.

I called today and they told me very soon. Seriously, why is management at Charter so worthless? They clearly have people willing to pay for this crap. Advertise and commit to a date ugh. Tired of waiting seriously. I wish some other company in my area had it. I'd be gone in a second.

I've been told by several sources now it isn't coming to O'Fallon.

All this time waiting... for what now seems like nothing.

Sounds like more money isn't coming out of O'Fallon then...I would have signed up if they'd ever offer it.

So, according to the newest Charter email and their website, Ultra 60 is now available in my area and I can even order online.

»connect.charter.com/landing/offe···009.html

Can anyone else in my area confirm that it is actually available before I go through the hassle of placing the order?
