I use to get such credits. For at least the past 12-18 months they require me to notify them of the time it goes out, then call back as soon as it comes back on.

So unless you're going to monitor your modem during outages they don't pay the credit. Once I estimated the time and they refused claiming they have confirmation of a signal at that time.

So they pretty much have you jump through so many hoops that you say the hell with it.
