<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : I was unable to log in with the aol software 9.0 after I canceled my dial-up account moving to hi-speed ( I had not used dial -up in years just didn't relaize I was paying for the service--just one of those recurring charges.  When I did that I was unable to access my account through the softward only via the web. Message was invalid account. It was suggested I download 9.1.  When I did I lost all folders and mail and still unable to access the software.  All mail and folders were saved on my pc not on the aol server.  I did a restore (windows xp)--went back to 9.0 but no mail or no folders and I still could not access the software.I can use it via web based so I know my id and password are valid.<br><br>Can anyone tell me how the files are idenitified--tried screename and .pfc--nothing.  Or give me any suggestions to recovering any of my many years of data?<br><br>i have talked with an aol tech--no solution and they have filed a report --no response.<br><br>All suggestions are greatly appreciated.<br><br>Jane]]></description>
