| reply to djrobx I'd be interested in seeing them resell AT&T's VDSL services too. Without the video requirement we could probably get the full 25mbps and maybe faster uploadspeeds. Or maybe they would provision based off of distance from the vrad which would be even cooler. U-Verse FTTH users would be the happiest of them all.
Of course the chances of this every happening are close to none. =( |

| reply to en102 The Ultra service is *symmetrical* (20 Mbps each direction) for $59.95 ($5 less than VZ). Surprisingly, it's *dry loop* FTTP (if you want, you can actually keep your current providers for phone and TV). And AFAIK, it's available anywhere VZ does FIOS today (I'm way out here in Maryland, far from DSL Extreme's usual territory, and it's available here).
