If you will look your uncorrected Blocks (uncor blks) are up and this is a problem. You have been watching that channel for 213 sec and the cablebox was able to correct 154 and unable to correct (tiled blocks) 118.
that is a problem and this is where we need to start.

This may sound like something too obvious, but check all of your connections from the back of the box all the way to the wall/ or floor ( wherever your outlet originates). Make sure they are good and tight. You would be surprised how much of a difference a slightly loose connector makes. |

Take the line feeding my modem and pipe that to the box and we get 1db and everything is fine go back to the tv jack and -9db and trouble. |

1 edit | reply to BiGdUsTy Thank you, BigDusty
We can solve problems.
knology did have another HD problem yesterday with AMC. ESPN and a few others and was repaired by end of business day.
I think the allstar game was good didn't hear any complaints.
I don't have HD at home.

1 edit | reply to BiGdUsTy Gold baby!
After more troubleshooting with olo and some splitter and cable management we struck gold! So far tonight no tiled blocks or audio dropouts.
That 0db sure looks nice after having -9db for so long. Hell even VOD works now on the downstairs TV.
A big shout-out to olo131 for the support thanks again.
The problem is not always in the system. |

| reply to BiGdUsTy Anybody else with a 3250HD connected with DVI/HDMI get this?
I get it on all 720p channels abc, natgeo, espnhd, etc.. and it's on both sides of the screen. Some times its white other times its black.
I've noticed that after switching out the component for HDMI the picture has no over scan. I'm almost sure that on my TV the component is over scanned just a bit.
1080i channels work great. |

join:2005-05-11 Largo, FL | reply to BiGdUsTy do when you go to those channels does your stb change to 720p output mode or does it upconvert to 1080i. if it goes to 720p your tv might not be 720p compatible and you may want to change the box settings to upconvert to 1080i. |

| reply to BiGdUsTy The stb is set to pass through and the tv supports 720p & 1080i. On component this was not a problem with 720p it only started when i moved the stb to HDMI. I know it's not the tv's fault because i have an up-scaling dvd player also hooked to HDMI with no issues at 720p. |
