1 edit | I can believe it. Just in Pennsylvania alone, some of the most rural areas are launching Docsis 3.0. It's relatively inexpensive and just a matter of making sure the system has the available bandwidth for channel bonding, as well as, a couple pieces of equipment in the headend. I don't understand why people are doubting the 4 year deadline, I mean, I work in a 550 MHz system and they're even testing.
As far as caps go, I play games at least 1-3 hrs an evening, stream multiple video's from youtube, even watch a movie off of fancast or hulu and I am definitely not even close to this "limit". Then again, I don't pirate movies, music, software, or anything of the sort. |
