Re: No surprise here

Is there an echo in here?

Sorry, I have family and friends who are lawyers, and I too hold them in low esteem.
While unfortunately a necessary evil, they are far from altruistic in there pursuits.

I had a lawyer tell me I had a great case, but that there was not enough money in it for HIM to pursue it.

My question, why hasn't the RIAA been crushed under a massive RICO suit yet???

The RIAA has significantly deeper pockets than any Plaintiff willing to pursue the case. As for an atty not accepting a case let me ask you....do you work for free? and/or are you willing to go balls to the wall for free? I'm guessing not. No one who climbs up on a soapbox and cries about the legal profession is, so unless and until you know precisely what goes into a lawsuit, I suggest you refrain from talking shit about attorneys.

the only people i have ever heard defend lawyers are lawyers and judging from your posts i'm guessing you are a lawyer.

So the lawyer should have told you sure I'll take the case, but I will charge you 100% in fees?
