@verizon.net
That advisor is too late for me as I already installed it but have no issues with Win7. I installed Win7 yesterday.

I ran win 7 for a while and I was hopeful that many of the features that we have become accustomed to from XP and Vista would remain (email / parental controls) and other "included" applications would carry over. Sadly; it looks like what makes win 7 is actually less than what a M$ OS provided in the past. I run Vista Ult. and XP Pro on my other 2 hard drives. I ended up formatting (Win 7) 750 gig hard drive and putting a fresh install of Vista Ult. back on. In my opinion the SP1 (fixed) Vista is equally as good as Win 7 and in some ways provides more.

Re: [Info] Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta

Has anyone tried running the RC on just 1 GB of RAM?

nvm I found another thread that answered it.
