BUT July Bell is going to be doing some major upgrades after LV and Pet signed that Internet agreement with them. THey are installing a bunch of remote DSLAMS to service I think about 95% of the people with DSL of some sort. | |

| I don't know about Petawawa Point specifically...actually I don't know about any address specifically but I've just heard that through June several areas will go live quietly and then the official big announcement for folks in the area will be a bit later on but if you're in Pembroke feel free to call in and see if your address is one of those quietly available right now.

We've tested modem in all of Pembroke and they work flawlessly now just waiting on the formalities. As Krispy suggested call in your node may already be one of the active ones. These days nodes are going active weekly.
All digital and HD should be available by mid August early September with phones following closely after that.

These are proactive changes we're making to get us up to minimum 4 hour battery backup. If I tell you more I'll have to "read you in". | |

| Re: [Eastern Ontario] Cogeco Burying Cable------Internet Availab Hi Al: I was just talking to a "preferred Cogeco customer" and he told me that he was talking with a support supervisor last week and the super said because of damage to one of their systems by lightning, we may not get cable in Petawawa. Funny because two weeks ago I was told the target date for service in Petawawa was this week.
No idea what to do now, but getting very frustrated. | |

L'Orignal, ON | 9017 was accepted by tech ops and returned to marketing two weeks ago. Marketing needs 4 weeks before they start to sell so you should be good to go by the end of September.

I phoned sale today and they told me that the internet is not available.
Would they know that it is becoming available. If they know it will be there by a given date, they still could sign people up with a future activation date which should be in about 2 weeks.
I guess I am getting overtired of Bell crap on a stick. | |

I just got off the phone with the HFC upgrade manager and my manager and they are trying get this proceess fast tracked so I hope to have more news for you maybe by the end of this week. | |

Main street is just yearly work. But if you have these brand new green boxes showing up around your hood you should be good to go.
I know people way out on B-line Road who have cogeco internet already. | |
