You have an EDIT button at the bottom right of that post

(or maybe that's a registered user ability?)

edit: a friendly MOD solved that for you

Hey Chromac

I phoned sale today and they told me that the internet is not available.
Would they know that it is becoming available. If they know it will be there by a given date, they still could sign people up with a future activation date which should be in about 2 weeks.
I guess I am getting overtired of Bell crap on a stick.

We discusssed this on a call this morning and I brought up the fact that we should be allowing callins to get installs done even if marketing is not ready.
I just got off the phone with the HFC upgrade manager and my manager and they are trying get this proceess fast tracked so I hope to have more news for you maybe by the end of this week.

I'm in Paris France returning Wed Al. I'm waiting to hear form a couple of people (read as high level management types ) as to whether we can jump the gun and start selling internet in you're particular area. In the meantime Marcer is working on another angle to this that may work out for us and let us get your accounts setup now.

I'll be back in Canada Thursday and hope to know more by then.

Whats the total costs for setting up service either business or residental.

Also if the line running to the place is underground was cut when a tree blew over whats the cost to have that fixed.

I also spoke with the sale rep and I will dump Bell satellite and switch to Cogeco and as soon as the phone comes around, I am going Cogeco all the way.

The sale rep mentionned that there are not enough people in this area to sloww down the internet even a peak time 6-8

Chromac would you care to confirm

Thanks guys

With you and Sartech being one of the first few active out there, yes it would be wide open.

Hey! All this news about broadband has me exited...I've been nagging for the past 8 years to get highspeed in my area of Petawawa and finally I might get it? I'm thrilled.

Would anyone happen to know what node Oelke Street is in Petawawa? Its in the Frasier Subdivision down near airport road. (I hope its part of the rollout!)

Also, possibly related: is this the reason for tearing out the road on main street Pembroke?

Main street is just yearly work. But if you have these brand new green boxes showing up around your hood you should be good to go.

I know people way out on B-line Road who have cogeco internet already.
