1 edit | If you were buying a laptop that could also play decent game I am in the market for laptop that I can carry (so sub 7 lbs) and yet capable of playing very good games.
What would you recommend?
Is DELL a good buy or some nice mom and pop smaller brands like IBUYPOWER etc?

| Re: If you were buying a laptop that could also play decent game Well at 7.7 lbs I have the ASUS G50. It has been able to play any game I've tossed its way. In fact it has even replaced my desktop.
I don't think you can do much better for something that cost less than $1000.

| I wouldn't get any of tyhe junk that Dell/Alienware sells.
Likewise I wouldn't buy from IBuyPower as I know a few that have been burned by them on desktops.

If you already have a copy of windows you can try System76 »system76.com/index.php?cPath=28 The Serval comes with the GTX260m, the Bonobo comes with the GTX280m

| Check out lenovo i currently have a Y730-40532AU - orange (P8400) witch is similar to the Y730 - 40532JU - orange (P8600), they are well built and i have had zero problems so far with it.
