Down for me too (afternoon 26th PST). I'm also having intermittent trouble using their webmail portal. Of course their status page is useless as usual.

Yeah, seriously. I'm looking into how I can switch hosting companies to DreamHost but I've never done it before so I'm afraid I'll break something Fear keeps me at 1and1, and that's just sad - particularly with service like this.

Was having trouble with mail too, sending and receiving from around 6 pm - 8pm

Started working for me sometime around 8pm EST..was very slow when it did come back up...

Same nonsense....IMAP servers timing out, cannot access their webmail interface.

I'm ready to dump this lousy service. Any good recommendations? At this point I'm not really interested in a web package, just a decent place to host my own domain's email.

With the costs of web hosting services which more than always include email hosting your best bet would simply be another hosting service Vs. email hosting only.
