Re: [OOL] Optimum Ultra Reviews! Post em here! Ordered it... requires truck roll.
Install is for Thursday. I have two boost modems, I'll loose one modem and keep two phone lines on a single modem and use the internet only on the new modem.
Stupid $300 Activation fee. Oh well, 101/15 here I come. |

 | How soon are they actually going to do the install. I'm assuming the $300 fee just gets added to your monthly bill? |

I thought that though the modem could do two lines, OOL couldn't.. Let me know if they can't.. I currently have two boost modems. I'm going to an Ultra tier modem with the 2nd modem for voice only. (Since the new Ultra modem has no VoIP). (The first boost modem had no VoIP.) I already had the two voice jacks on the second modem already. AFAIK they even have a consumer modem now with 3 voice jacks on OOL. (For Boost and under.) |

| Back in the 60's and early 70's, Monroe NY was known for a few things - cheap motels, bungalows and its proximity to the Quickway (aka - speed trap alley). Who'da thunkit that people would be flying down Al Gore's Information SuperHighway in Monroe. I think for old times' sake some New York State Policemen should place a cap on the town's internet speeds - with proceeds of violations given to the victims of the speed-trap-towns in that region. |
