| Go Phone I went with an AT&T Go Phone 2 years ago. I had a $40 a month plan and hardly use my phone. This was the cheap way to go. And you don't lose your money as long as you add more before they expire.
But I just now switched to T-Mobile pay as you go. Phone cost me $30. I put in $100 which is good for a full year and gives me 1000 minutes. What ever balance I have left at the end of the year I do not lose as long as I add at least $10. That gets me another year. Fine for people like me that use a cell phone about 20 minutes a month.
