| Getting Banned from WoW Forums
I just need to vent a little; I am having a slow Monday at work, especially now that I cannot post on the WoW Forums. LOL.
Has anyone here ever been banned from the forums or game?
In my case it was (imho) for something ridiculous. I have learned to read the terms for posting on websites forums in detail, and not follow someone else’s lead. I posted a thread warning of a hacker website and even clearly stated what would happen and to not even go to the website, let alone download anything from it.... and BAM, I'm banned...
Of course now I know that no good deed goes unpunished and have learned from my mistake. Just wanted to see if anyone has had something like this happen to them.

the third was was for saying "thanks bro" to the lead dev...and he banned me for "racial" reasons...

can't say i've ever been banned from something but i've been suspended from xbox live back when halo 2 was still new cause me and a friend i made online got a good group together and pretty much dominated all of our competition and it was a usual thing to get called hackers and such after a game so i guess i got a lot of negative comments and i got suspended for a month lol.. |

Sorry not the forum no. Tried hard to get banned from the game though right before I cancelled my acct. Sort of let it all hang out there for the last month. Cursed out ore/herb node ninjas. Cursed out people gathering up all the mobs in an area and aoeing them down when there were obviously people there trying to quest as well, cursed out "leet children" who belittle people in lfg, cursed out people abusing trade channel. Basically cursed out everyone who most people want to curse out but are afraid of the gms. Was reported several times apparently but never contacted in game by any gms directly, only recieved emails scolding me. Guess I wasnt logged on when my ticket came up.
Then to have more fun sent a super nasty email back to the GM that emailed me basically telling them off. Lots of nasty language. Was a ball.

I try to be careful and not get banned. Be very careful of what each forum will allow. That being said as long as it is an honest opinion you will probable not be banned.
