D3 upgrades cost $100/customer...you dont think they will make that back over the next 2 years? Cmon, its a wonderful investment, without a major network upgrade (FTTC)

There are muni's and fiber that are going to have upwards of gig speeds within 5 years; its good to see that cable is stepping to compete.

Thats a horrible, unjustified investment, I want that $100 per customer as dividends. It better increase ARPU by 20% or its a charity.

Get over it. Comcast will make a fortune off of the inevitable cap+overages or straight byte-billing. DOCSIS 3 puts them in a place where they'll be ready to take full advantage.
