I know just about nothing about bikes, but I thought all BMW bikes used drive shafts?
Is there something wrong with a bike with that much power running a shaft?
My V45 Magna (750cc) has a driveshaft as does the big brother the V65 Magna (1100cc). They drive a little different than a chain or a belt, but nothing that you can't adapt to and get used to.
