| [FireFox] Firefox/No Script problem Hi, Okay, approx. once a week I will have a crash with my FFx browser (3.0.10) and when I re-start it up,immediately it opens up to the No Script page.I back out of there and then it proceeds to the downloader helper page. These are the only 2 Add-ons I have. Now the very, very annoying aspect of this is that ALL my settings I have made for NoScript have changed, and I have to go back and reset everything back to how I originally had it!,plus under Tools,Options of Firefox a number of settings there that I have setup to my wants have also been changed, and so I have to redo everything over again!. Using latest ver 1.9.2.6 of NS. What the hell is creating this, and is there a fix for it? Thanks, Art WinXP SP2 |

 | Likely a corrupted profile. You can create a new one, then remove the old one:
»kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manag···_profile |

| Anon, Thanks for that. Will create a new profile, and see how that goes... Have been using FFx for quite some time now,and have never experienced this before ie: a "corrupted profile",any idea what the cause of this is,and whether it can be prevented? Thanks, Art |

 | said by art22gg:. . "corrupted profile",any idea what the cause of this is,and whether it can be prevented? I imagine any number of things may have caused it, if in fact that's where the problem lies.
Preventions include special dances, potions, incantations, sticking pins in dolls, etc.
No guarantees. |
