| I'm all for the sub channel as long as it's very, very low bitrate at 480i. Their Live Power Doppler is very nice and I find myself logging in whenever bad weather is ripping through the area.
Unfortunately, there already is mosquito noise all over on Fox when watching on Comcast. I have not plugged in my antenna in a while, so I can't compare OTA quality. |

In a few years it might not be a big thing if the economy gets better and the networks go to encoding in Mpeg-4 over the current Mpeg-2. Or if something better comes along.

The larger issue is almost none of the TVs can decode MPEG4 since it is not part of the 8VSB standard. |

Switched over to my OTA tuner, put a temporary antenna outside with an amp and the difference was between night and day. When doing close ups of swimmers with all the water splashing, it didnt look like a downloaded movie!
