| when you speak of Clearwire, I'm assuming that you're NOT talking about Clearwire WiMAX right?
I'm over in Buffalo and would just love to test their WiMax. |

Cortland, NY | I believe its Wimax since they want a proprietary card and its not capped. Go to clearwire.com and click on the coverage map for NY. Shows Auburn, Syracuse and Cortland.

Its not WiMax service. The Clearwire WiMax service is on www.clear.com, not their clearwire.com page. The WiMax is only commercially available in Baltimore and Portland at this point. |

1 edit | Specifically, Clearwire offers true mobile WiMAX in Baltimore/Portland/Atlanta only at the moment. They have a pre-WiMAX flavor, which sucks, in many small markets. Will take time to upgrade those markets to true mobile WiMAX.
Chicago/Dallas/Philly and I think Boston have some unofficial true WiMAX coverage not officially released yet. |
