Re: Great...

One would assume it would be the same. Maybe another around at the FCC would change that?

I don't think so. To begin with the so-called "4-5 days" is more like 2-3 weeks for VOIP providers and there's nothing we (providers) can do about it. I have no illusion that 24 hours is going to happen (it's not) - but at the very least a week would be nice.

maybe you and the other VoIP providers should go to the FCC instead of talking about it on here. Comcast and TM did and they got what they wanted. You, Packet8 and all the others need to go down there if you don't feel that you're being treated fair.

Do you really think the FCC cares about independent providers enough to even listen to our complaints- let alone do anything about it?

Sorry, but unless you have millions of subscribers (and even then) the FCC is not going to even hear you out.

But maybe if you're service wasn't in "beta" still they would hear your complaints? And all you have to do is get with Vonage and or Packet8 or another company that's been in the business long enough and has that many customers as you think it requires that to get them to listen to you.

But then again, don't complain when you don't get what they want and everything favors the major providers.
