Yeah, this is a nice little surprise. Seems solid so far.

I got migrated from Covad to Verizon awhile back and my speeds went up. The connection was a little shaky at first, but it settled down and has been good. I hope it's that way for you too.

Mindspring rings a bell...I did see that listed when I did various tests on my line over the years. So it sounds like Ive been migrated. That's great, hope it sticks...its a nice little burst of speed. Thanks for the reply.

Looks like you now have the 3008/512 package [resold AT&T 'pro' tier]. Were you on Covad before? 1.5/384 sounds like the old Mindspring/Covad offering.

There have been many instances of Earthlink customers being migrated from Covad to AT&T in the last couple of years.

I don't think Earthlink distinguishes between the 1.5 and 3.0 packages with respect to pricing. If I recall correctly, they only charge more for the 6.0/768 package.

This is weird, but awesome...I have the 1500/384 package but this morning when I went online I instantly knew something was different, faster. I did a speed test and got this:
Download Speed: 2594 kbps (324.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 436 kbps (54.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

I seem to have been bumped up to the next level for some reason. Anyone know whats up?
