WGR614 Issues

Can anyone help me with this problem..I have a wireless connection via the above router. Attached I have my PS3. I use this to stream movies via cable. This works flawlessly until i turn on the wireless function then then I get DNS errors on the PS3 and the streaming gets interrupted. Is there a way to have a wired PS3 connection and use the wireless function of the router. Thanks

I don't know, but to start, which WGR614 version? Is your cable modem providing DNS server info to your router? Are they using DHCP or manual IP addresses? Have you updated the firmware? Have you tried to reboot the WGR614 after turning the wireless ON? I have noticed with my Netgear stuff that reboots are required to get some stuff to "take".

Mcalester, OK		 Does your PS3 support wireless? If it does and you have it hooked up wired you will need to disable its wireless feature. Otherwise it will try to make the connection using both and start "looping".

If it doesn't support wireless, disregard.
