Cable vs DSL

I was always one of those preferring (unmetered) DSL. Even at the $140 level, Comcast has the 250 gig cap. I wouldn't think it would matter; but I use CrashPlan for offsite backup, and something they do eats up bandwidth. Of course, half the benefit of 50 megabit download speeds falls apart with the cap. If I actually did video streaming from Netflix or whatever, my quota would disappear pretty quickly.
