Connecticut definitely needs global warming!

| Don't worry: by Wednesday or Thursday things should heat up nicely and be warm all through the weekend, I think.
I also turned the heat on last night in my bedroom.
By the way, looks like it might be too cloudy for the heat to radiate to space and so we may get no frost here after all. -- HCN: Because you deserve a rest!

4 edits | I dunno, but switching on the heat is chump-change to me (3000 sq ft), especially after paying $130,000 dollars for my daughters' college education in Camdridge MA ...
...of which I'm proud to say, she graduated Cum Laude last weekend.

| Fortunately, the cold air is not here to stay. Tomorrow looks warmer, and Thursday even warmer. Friday looks downright hot! But, that's okay. I'll take hot over cold anytime! If I feel like complaining about the heat, I just remind myself of how much I hate the cold & snow, and it's all good. | |

| A couple nights ago, it got down to 65F in the house, but I managed to avoid turning up the heat, despite my wife's parents being here from the PI. They didn't seem to complain any more than usual about the temps in the house, though every time we went out all I heard was "malamig!" (it's cold!) from both of them. This was the worst month to bring in anyone from a hot country. The house holds the heat pretty well down to the upper 30s outside. Once it gets below freezing though, I have to put the heat on. Fortunately not this week. Thinking about how much I'll spend on refilling the tank this spring... | |

| Re: [RANT] I broke down and put the heat on That hints that the cash price may be around $1.85 now. Time to do that old Gene Scott thing and "get on the telephone!" (and survey the oil prices). I'm anxious to see how much oil I actually used, given the high tech oil burner electronics I've added last fall. | |
