Is anyone else still seeing slower than average speeds? I'm still running below the rest of you all, and am incredibly jealous!! Even at the ass crack of dawn the speeds don't fluctuate too much higher. With, or without router.

hi how u guys doin...im a really competitive gamer on xbox 360 n i think ultra would improve my connections to people alot...i noticed that all of u are just doin speed tests to a new york server which is basically useless because everything on the internet is not based in new york..i wanted to know if 1 of u can do me a favor and go to speedtest.net and test the connection to germany and australia and post your results here.. it would be greatly appreciated and would help in my decision to get ultra..thank you |

You have to compare apples to apples as the saying goes. Using the same server, which btw is CV's own server, let's folks compare speeds on a somewhat more level playing field.
Of course speeds are going to vary for many reasons to other sites. The least of which is the old weakest link axiom, you are only as fast as the slowest hop.

yea thanks alot for those tests that connection to germany is amazing..australia only has dsl available thats y its so bad of a connection..but ultra would make me unstoppable on xbox live i cant wait to get it...the only downside is tha 300$ activation fee lol..and its true that u guys have to stop doin test to just a NY server because like i said all of the internet is not based in NY n just because u get 100Mb here doesnt mean that ur gettin that connection all tha time..thanks again |

Floral Park, NY | Its the routes it takes that says what the speeds are gonna be. You might not take the same route as another person so your results may be different. I did the tests they did with my Fios and there isnt much difference in speeds on some tests. |

My Ultra download speeds in the mid 60s when I start in normal mode, but if I start in Safe Mode, the speeds are in the 90s. I'm running Windows XP. Any ideas on what could be causing this? |

Still going strong after 2+ months . I have notice though that sometimes my upload speeds are somewhat not up to par, but for what I want it to do this is heaven for me.
Was traveling in Europe on Vacation and oooh did I miss this speed when connecting.
