Re: Still a need for a set top box.... i install U-Verse for AT&T ... i know for a fact that on our DVR's .. without a signal coming to the DVR you cannot funtion anything on the box ... you wont even be able to get to a menu screen... it will just sit on a blue AT&T screen and then eventually give you an "X" in the middle of your screen.
now i have seen DVR's i believe from DISH NETWORK? where as long as your DVR is plugged to power and to your t.v. then you can watch your recordings from it. |
