So something is funky in Netgear's algorithm which refuses to recognize a connection request from the Sirius 802.11B radio. That's my only gripe though for this Netgear WNR3500 for my use. It has and is a solid strong reliable router for me. It has not ever dropped connections since I've had it running over a month now. I would recommend it for those searching for a reliable wireless 2.4Ghz N router. I am now trying out a new Dlink DIR-655 hardware version A4 and that one seems to be holding up very well also. But I've only had it for a day now... no drop outs with it neither, yet.
I don't know why Netgear put out a new WNR3500 V2 when the V1 is solid. Maybe cost reduction at play here. There is nothing wrong with the V1 by my experience with it. |
