Sprint hops onto Verizon network when in gray area...

I have Sprint in upstate NY in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and I have been extremely pleased with Sprint's network. In any area where there may be limited reception they hop onto Verizon at no additional cost, so it's really like getting two networks, or at least a backup.

Regarding the Pre... I've suffered with the Treo for the past 2 years and I will never go with a Palm product again. The keyboard alone on the Pre makes me think Treo and I just absolutely hated that experience. And has anyone realized that with the Pre you have to navigate to a webpage in portrait mode, then rotate the device to get to landscape... seems like that will become a nuisance. Unless they develop an on screen keyboard.

Pre looks like a decent device, but I also get the feeling that it will become obsolete on a faster track as did the Treo.
