Actually, it only gets hostile because the guy who thinks he runs the diagnostic tests doesn't handle failure very well. If he was truly capable of accepting constructive criticism, the discussion could have been considerably more mellow.
I personally think he's spinning his wheels - trying to modify terrestrial broadband diagnostics to satellite connections. But by all means, check it out. Decide for yourselves.
